I love working with artists from different art forms.

This is what they came up with.

Humanae

Humanae

Angélica Dass is the wonderful woman behind Humanae. After watching her TED Talk, I was excited to read that the Migration Museum would host her photo shoot in London and they needed volunteers. I turned up at 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning and I had a lovely chat with Angelica and she took this shot of me. I love that her work makes us all  reconsider our relationships with skin colour and ethnicity.

SAD

Alise Hardy is a fantastic artist. Her imagination is fervent. She has a wonderful laugher and her art truly uplifted me during hard times.

"Sad" is a series of drawings about all types of sadness - grief, a bad day, a low mood and depression. Alise wants to tackle these taboo feelings and believes that talking about them can help us feel connected in time of struggle.

Sad was exhibited at Bond and Lane Canteen for SALA Festival from 27th July to 31st August 2015.

'Maddalena', drawing above was also a part of Frame of Mind, a group show for Latrobe University's Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre, Australia, in April and May 2015.
